I’ve been wanting to make a video about communicating faith through symbols for a while now. Symbols are powerful communication devices. Mastering the language of symbols can lead us to be competent consumers of media and enlightened consumers of religious art and media.
This Advent and Christmas we would be enriched by leaning into our Christian Symbolism. It’s there we can be reinforced in our Faith views and find opportunities to educate our children about the sometimes hidden clues that point to Jesus in the world around them.
But this is a video blog today so I’m going to let it do the talking. I want you to know that I remade this video with make up on, mostly because I didn’t want my 3 sister’s calling me up about it!
